Here's what's trending for November 18.

The Lehigh Valley has been nearly completely rain-free for more than a month. Accu-Weather's Joe Lundberg says that should all change Wednesday night. "It's hard to say how much rain it's going to be. It's not going to be a long period of rain. Definitely less than 12 hours, but it's rain for everybody and that's the good news," Lundberg says. Lundberg is forecasting a half-inch to perhaps a full inch of much-needed rain Wednesday night into Thursday night.

Crews were needed after a brush fire started in a cornfield yesterday. Officials in Whitehall say the fire was reported on the 2300 block of Ringer Road at around 2:30 p.m. It is unknown if anyone was injured.

Firefighters were called to a home in Williams Township Sunday morning. The call came in at 11:25 a.m. for a fire in the 100 block of Gaffney Hill Road. There are no reports of injuries.

An investigation is underway following a shooting in Allentown this past weekend. Police say two people were shot on the 1100 block of Catasaqua Road Saturday evening. The victims were taken to the hospital and are expected to be ok. Officers believe the shooting stemmed from a road rage incident.

The Roxy in Northampton hosted the world premiere of the new movie "St. Bick of Bethlehem" Sunday. Lehigh Valley native Dan Roebuck starred in and directed the film, which was filmed in Bethlehem. He says his hometown was the obvious choice to shoot the family-friendly movie. "We have community spirit. We have community joy and arts. So many communities have that, but we have Christmas all year-round because we've got Bethlehem," Roebuck says. "St. Nick of Bethlehem" is officially released on Friday.

The gap in Pennsylvania's race for the U.S. Senate is smaller, but Republicans say that's because many of the latest votes shouldn't be counted. Democrat Bob Casey's campaign over the weekend said he's now behind by just 17,000 votes. Republican Dave McCormick's campaign says that's because election managers in Democratic areas of the state are counting ballots that should not be counted. The race remains headed toward an automatic recount and at least a couple of lawsuits. No one is saying when the recount, and the court cases, could be over.

A nightspot that served Jersey Shore patrons for 17 years, Goodnight Irene's, has closed for good. The Wildwood brewpub at the corner of Pacific and East Poplar Avenues closed last night after building a regional reputation for an extensive beer selection and a robust menu. The reason for Goodnight Irene's' closing has not been announced and it's not known what will move into its location.
