Here's what's trending for July 23.

Lehigh Valley Health Network celebrated the opening of a brand-new childcare center in Bethlehem Monday. The 10,000-square-foot center will not only provide the community with childcare services but will also be available for LVHN employees with kids. The facility will be independently operated by River Crossing YMCA.

Vice President Kamala Harris now has the support of both Pennsylvania senators. Senator John Fetterman posted on social media yesterday he is "all in" for Harris to be the candidate that replaces President Joe Biden on the Democratic ticket. This comes after Fetterman told reporters on Sunday he felt Biden was "pushed out." Fellow Senator Bob Casey endorsed Harris on Sunday.

There may be a little bit more to all of the 'short list' stories about Pennsylvania's governor and the VP job. A Philadelphia TV station reported yesterday that VP Kamala Harris called Governor Josh Shapiro Sunday night. No one is saying just what the two talked about. Shapiro is considered one of a handful of possible contenders to be Harris' pick for vice president. Neither the governor, nor his office had anything to say about the phone call, or the VP rumors yesterday.

Pennsylvania's House Speaker, Joanna McClinton says she's excited about Kamala Harris potentially taking the reigns of the Democratic White House efforts this fall. "There's never been a president to nominate a Black woman, or Black and Asian woman, to be the presidential nominee for any party. What is happening is history unfolding. It's exciting to me not only as a voter, but as a woman who has made a little history herself," McClinton says.

Pennsylvania's Democrats are 100 percent behind Kamala Harris. The delegation that is headed to next month's Democratic National Convention yesterday unanimously agreed to back Harris as the party's nominee to take on former President Trump. Democratic delegates held a meeting yesterday afternoon, and all said Harris is the best choice for Pennsylvania. The latest polling average gives former President Trump a four-point lead in Pennsylvania. But those polls were between Trump and Biden.

The New Jersey delegation to the Democratic National Convention next month has voted to endorse Vice President Kamala Harris as the party's nominee for president. The New Jersey Globe confirmed none of the Biden delegates opposed Harris' nomination. Democratic State Chairman LeRoy Jones called the meeting hours after President Joe Biden announced he would not seek re-election. New Jersey has 126 delegates and 19 super delegates.

A resolution that honors former Buffalo Township fire chief Corey Comperatore is going before Congress. U.S. Representative Mike Kelly introduced House Resolution 1369 yesterday with the support of over 70 co-sponsors. Kelly says Comperatore "exemplified what it means to be a man of service and sacrifice" before he lost his life at the Trump rally shooting in Butler Township. The 50-year-old father reportedly shielded his family from bullets as a gunman fired into the crowd in an attempt to kill former president Donald Trump.

The Penn State All-Sports Museum will be unveiling a LEGO Beaver Stadium structure later this month. The model consists of 7,647 individual LEGOs and was built by artist Garrett Gourley a 2015 Penn State Industrial Engineering graduate. It took almost 100 hours to build and was made possible by a donor’s $2,500 gift to the museum.

The Senate Ethics Committee has begun a review of Senator Bob Menendez's conduct following his conviction on federal bribery charges this month. The panel yesterday voted unanimously to look into whether the senator violated Senate rules. The committee could recommend Menendez be censured or expelled. The move could pressure Menendez to step down or it could lead to the Senate's expulsion of Menendez from the chamber.
