Here's what's trending for February 12.

Accu-Weather's Joe Lundberg says three-to-six inches of snow is expected here within 24 hours. However, he wouldn't at all be surprised if we pick up a bit more. "I'll tell you what, if the storm tracks a little more south, I think we could then be in the six-to-ten inch range," Lundberg says. Lundberg figures the snow will begin falling a little after midnight tonight and continue for roughly 12 hours or so before wrapping up around lunchtime Tuesday.

A 75-year-old Northampton woman was the victim of identity theft sometime in the last month. The woman told police that social security benefits totaling $21,628 were diverted from her accounts. The PA State Police in Bethlehem is investigating and have not said how the ripoff happened.

Someone impersonating an Asian pop star scammed a Northampton County resident out of thousands of dollars. State police say a 57-year-old East Allen Township told them someone impersonating K-pop sensation Cha Eun-woo scammed her out of $16,000, with the money sent via Bitcoin. The thief took the woman’s identity and banking information.

Authorities in Northampton County have arrested a man accused of assaulting someone with a deadly weapon. Colonial Regional Police had issued an alert for a 2018 blue Kia Optima but that has been cancelled after the suspect was arrested Sunday afternoon. Police aren't saying much about the alleged assault that happened on Newburg Road in Lower Nazareth Township.

Candidates from both parties seeking spots on the primary ballot have until Tuesday to submit petition signatures to the Department of State. Dave McCormick, who is challenging Senator Bob Casey in the fall, made Lititz the first stop on a state bus tour Saturday. He was joined by state Treasurer Stacy Garrity and Auditor General Tim DeFoor, who are both seeking their second, four-year terms. Dave Sunday, the York County district attorney who's running for attorney general, was also at the rally and signature-gathering event.

Former GOP presidential candidate and former governor Chris Christie says if the 2024 election comes down to Biden versus Trump, America is left with "two really, really bad choices." Speaking on NBC's Meet the Press yesterday, Christie said he knew the GOP race was over in the first debate when six of the eight candidates on the stage said they would support Trump even if he's "a convicted felon." Christie said he hasn't looked into running as a third-party candidate and has not had any talks with the No Labels movement.
