Here's what's trending for April 22.

Democrat Congressional candidate Bob Brooks is publicly apologizing for Facebook posts he made years ago. According to the Washington Post, Brooks criticized former NFL quarterback Colin Kapernick and his police brutality protests. In another post, Brooks shared a meme referencing a mass shooting at an El Paso Walmart that left 23 people dead, saying "The problem isn't guns but hearts without God, homes without discipline, schools without prayer and courtrooms without justice." Brooks issued a statement saying he's sorry for sharing "a few stupid things over the years." Brooks is one of four Democrats looking to unseat incumbent Republican Ryan Mackenzie this November.

Salisbury police want the public’s help in finding the person who set a vehicle on fire Saturday night. Police were called to the 1200 block of Marlow Street around 11:30 Saturday night for reports of a vehicle fire. Authorities are asking anyone with home security footage from the area between 10:30-11:30 that night to contact the department at 610-437-5252.

Allentown Mayor Matt Tuerk is deploying speed cushions to decrease speeding in areas near heavily traveled parks and schools. He says the speed cushions aren't that expensive and work. "They're fairly expensive. A set is around $2500. So, that's an inexpensive way to make the city safer. I'd love to see them in other parts of the city," Tuerk says. The next set will be laid down by next week on Ott Street, at the entrance to the Cedar Beach Pool. Last year, seven pedestrians were killed in accidents in Allentown.

We're getting more details about a suspicious package left outside the American Legion Post in Lehighton on Monday. The Lehighton Borough Police Department was called around 3 o'clock Monday afternoon after a cylinder marked as "Chemical Hazards" was discarded on the north side porch of the Legion by a bearded man. The Allentown Bomb Squad was called to the scene and determined the cylinder contained a chemical compound used to produce a toxic fume and get rid of animals. The identity of the man who brought the item to the American Legion building is unknown.

Pennsylvania is among the states named in a new report on sexual harassment claims at state capitols. The report says 5 of the 424 claims filed nationwide over the past 12 years came from Pennsylvania. State Representative Abby Major says one of those cases involved a former lawmaker she says sexually harassed her. Major says staffers and others are often afraid to come forward because they fear damage to their careers.

Officials are sharing some of the details surrounding the security plan for the NFL Draft in Pittsburgh this week. Leaders with the league and Pittsburgh Public Safety discussed the situation yesterday. Authorities say there will be an increased law enforcement presence out in the city beyond the boundaries of the draft activities. The FBI is reporting no credible threats of violence related to the event discovered so far. The draft will be held tomorrow through Saturday.

New Jersey's top law enforcement official joined a coalition of two dozen states warning of a spike in scams, if a proposal goes through for major changes at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. The Trump Administration is planning to cut the CFPB's staff from about 17-hundred to about 550. New Jersey Attorney General Jennifer Davenport says residents could be left vulnerable, since she noted 40 percent of U.S. adults reported a form of financial fraud last year. That is why Davenport says she and other AGs from the coalition of states are now suing to block the federal changes to the CFPB.

After losing by 32 points in game one of their series against Boston, the 76ers saw a 46 point turnaround in game two and beat the Celtics 111-97. Sixers coach Nick Nurse says the difference happened when his team did 'not' have the ball. "We just played much better team defense tonight," Nurse said after the win. VJ Edgecombe scored 30 and Tyrese Maxey added 29 in the win. The series continues Friday night in Philadelphia.
