The Lehigh County commissioner accused of dealing cocaine and other drugs is due in court this morning. Zachary Cole-Borghi will have a preliminary hearing as he faces more than 100 felony charges. The charges stem from a major drug bust last year, where 41 people were charged. His hearing is scheduled for 9 o'clock.

An elderly man will spend decades in prison after being convicted of sexually assaulting a child. 79-year-old Ronald Haberstumpf was found guilty last year of assaulting a child at a home in Bethlehem between 2013-and-2017. Authorities said the assaults started when the child was four years old. Haberstumpf was sentenced yesterday to at least 21 years behind bars.

The AAA East Central Gas Price Report shows gas prices across the Commonwealth remained flat at $3.94 a gallon as of Monday. That's 68 cents more than one year ago. In the Lehigh Valley, the average price stood at $3.92 a gallon, level to the previous week and 78 cents more expensive than the same date in 2025.

Governor Josh Shapiro is encouraging people to take advantage of the Working Pennsylvanians Tax Credit. "If you are working and struggling to get by, and that includes 940,000 of our neighbors, you now qualify for over $800 back in your pocket. That's a real relief for a significant number of people across the Commonwealth," the governor says. The Shapiro administration says approximately 450,000 Pennsylvanians who qualify have yet to file their taxes and claim this credit.

Pennsylvania's Highway of Heroes will include multiple stops. The Highway of Heroes is a new program that connects six historic sites along Route 30 from Independence National Historic Park in Philadelphia to the Fort Pitt Museum in Pittsburgh. Among the sites will be Gettysburg National Military Park and the Eisenhower National Historic Site in Adams County. Among the sites will be Valley Forge National Historical Park. Anyone who visits every stop will receive a commemorative display of six challenge coins representing each location.

The Phillies are off to a slow start. Washington embarrassed them Monday night. After the 13-2 loss, manager Rob Thomson acknowledged the team isn't hitting, but said they will. "I think the bottom of the lineup swung the bat pretty good tonight. The guys at the top of the lineup haven't got it going yet. They will. It's just a matter of time," Thomson says. Top pitching prospect Andrew Painter makes his Major League debut tonight when the Phillies host the Nationals again.
