Here's what's trending for March 31.

One person is dead following a wrong-way crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Lehigh County. Jack Carroll says he was driving north on the Turnpike when a friend driving ahead of him warned him what was coming his way. "We were on the phone talking and he said that woman is driving the wrong direction. I've gotta go. I calling the police," Carroll says. State Police say a New Jersey SUV driver going south in the northbound lanes hit two motorcyclists near the Lehigh Valley Tunnel Sunday morning. One motorcyclist was killed, while the other was injured. The crash is being investigated.

Northampton County Coroner's Office has released the name of a person killed in a two-vehicle crash on Saturday in Plainfield Township. Jeffrey Marsh, a 59-year-old man from Bushkill Township, died in the accident. Marsh was the driver of the motorcycle that collided with another vehicle on the 6200 block of Sullivan Trail on Saturday afternoon. Marsh was pronounced dead at the scene.

If you have outdoor afternoon plans today, Accu-Weather's Heather Zehr says you might have a problem. "Once we get to the middle and later part of the afternoon, that's when we'll have to start watching for the rough weather," Zehr says. By rough weather, Heather means heavy thunderstorms that could contain damaging winds and maybe some hail.

Despite the cancellation of a joint appearance of Sens. Dave McCormick and John Fetterman, hundreds of protesters turned out in Pittsburgh Saturday. McCormick and Fetterman were scheduled to appear with their wives to talk about the power of mentoring during a promotional event for the book McCormick and his wife wrote together. The $32 entry fee included a free copy of the book. But the senators moved the event to an undisclosed location in downtown Pittsburgh after protesters planned to show up outside the original venue, and then postponed the event less than 24 hours before it was to start due to what was called an unforeseen logistical issue. The protesters said they have been trying to get in touch with Fetterman and McCormick and have found empty offices and unreturned calls or have received stock responses. They called the senators cowards for failing to be accountable to the public.

State troopers will blend into work zones on the Pennsylvania Turnpike next month in an effort to crack down on dangerous driving. PSP says troopers will be able to monitor the road from construction vehicles as part of Operation Orange Squeeze. The department says there were 176 crashes in active work zones on the Turnpike last year, resulting in two deaths and dozens of injuries. Drivers caught speeding in a work zone face an automatic 15-day license suspension.

Penn State emerged victorious from the NCAA men's hockey regional in Allentown this past weekend. The Nittany Lions upset top-seeded Maine 5-1 in the first round matchup on Friday then defeated U-Conn 3-2 in yesterday's regional final to punch their ticket to the Frozen Four. Penn State will face Boston University in the semifinal matchup on April 10th.

Villanova Men's Basketball is bringing in a proven head coach. The school announced on Sunday that Kevin Willard has been hired to replace Kyle Neptune, who got fired after missing the NCAA Tournament in each of his three seasons at the helm. Willard just finished leading Maryland to the Sweet 16 and went 65-and-39 over three years with the Terrapins.
