A year after a planned appearance was cancelled, a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame act is booked again at the Great Allentown Fair. Heart will perform at the Grandstand on Wednesday, August 27. This will be the band's first time headlining The Great Allentown Fair. Tickets for Heart are $99 and $119 and go on sale to the public starting at 10 a.m. on Friday. Heart's 2024 show was cancelled due to singer Ann Wilson's cancer diagnosis.

Gas prices in the Lehigh Valley and across the commonwealth took a significant dip over the past seven days. Statewide, the average price for a gallon of gas stood at $3.30 as of Tuesday, down four cents from the previous week and 23 cents below last March 4. AAA East Central says in the Lehigh Valley, that price was $3.16, down nearly eight cents from the previous Tuesday and 26 cents below the 2024 price.

May 7th is the deadline to get a Real ID if you want to fly, or enter some U.S. government buildings. A regular drivers license will no longer be enough. The head of PennDOT, Mike Carroll's urging people to take care of it sooner rather than later. "I know there's some hassle here with respect to getting RealID. But it's not nearly as bad as you think. The PennDOT folks across the state are ready to work with folks and deliver them the RealID that they will need so that when the day comes when they have to fly to Salt Lake City or Phoenix, they will have no problem boarding a commercial flight," Carroll says.

Officials now say the child who has measles in Montgomery County is an infant and is too young to have been vaccinated. It's believed the baby contracted the illness overseas. Dr. Richard Lorraine, the medical director with the Montgomery County Office of Public Health says this is not like what's been happening in Texas. "In that area, there's a lot of spread of measles among the community of unvaccinated individuals. What we have here in Montgomery County is a single case," Lorraine says.
