Here's what's trending for January 20.

Newly inaugurated President Donald Trump will be at many public events before the day is over and Lehigh Valley native Joe Petro says that makes for some give and take between the president and Secret Service. "You're not going to ask them to do something that would be dangerous or something that he wouldn't want to do. So, it's a negotiation really," Petro says. Petro was a Secret Service agent and headed up security for President George H.W. Bush's inauguration in 1989.

Governor Phil Murphy has canceled his plan to attend the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump today in Washington because of the winter storm in New Jersey. Yesterday, Governor Murphy declared a state of emergency after the latest snowstorm dumped several inches on the state yesterday. Winter weather advisories have been posted across the Jersey Shore. Up to a half-foot of snow was recorded in Morris, Passaic and Sussex Counties. Winter storm warnings were issued in ten counties. Thundersnow was reported last night in Essex County. Temperatures will not climb above freezing for most of the week across the state.

A man is under arrest after Allentown police say he stabbed his girlfriend and held her captive. Authorities said the victim was found at the Sterling Hotel on West Hamilton Street Sunday morning with a stab wound to the abdomen. The 59-year-old woman told officers her boyfriend stabbed her three days earlier and wouldn't let her leave to get help. 58-year-old Frederick Edwards faces charges including aggravated assault and false imprisonment.

Accu-Weather's Brian Thompson says we're getting an arctic blast this week. "The cold comes in behind the storm and we'll have some of that snow blowing around today as the wind is going to be gusting 20 or 30 miles per hour and we're only going to get up to 24, so Accu-Weather RealFeel temperatures will be in the single digits and some spots, the air temperature is going to down near zero tonight," Thompson says. He says the next time we get above freezing might be Saturday or perhaps Sunday.

Sunday's snow and today's holiday are both prompting changes to the typical schedule for LANTA today. LANTA is operating on a Sunday schedule in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. Because of Sunday's snow, LANTA says LANtaBus will follow Snow Emergency Routing today. LANtaVan services will be limited to dialysis trips only, and LANtaFlex will not operate.

An Allegheny County state representative has died. Rep. Matt Gergely experienced a medical event last month over the holidays and has now died according the Pennsylvania House Democratic Caucus. A cause of death has not been revealed. A special election will be held at a later date to fill his seat. Gergely's passing leaves the chamber deadlocked at a 101-101 partisan divide.

A bill New Jersey lawmakers are considering would allow for walk-ins at all state license offices for driver's license or vehicle registration. Currently, appointments are required for all license registrations. The bill would call for walk-in services to be offered at least two days a week at all eleven agency locations in the state. It passed the Senate Transportation Committee last month. A similar bill is moving quickly through the General Assembly.

The ban on drones over New Jersey towns has expired. The F-A-A had issued bans in dozens of New Jersey counties late last year following after a surge in unexplained drone sightings since mid-November. Some sightings were over sensitive locations including reservoirs, the Trump golf club in Bedminster, and Picatinny Arsenal in Morris County. The bans in 22 towns across the state expired Friday and another 28 were lifted over the weekend.

The Eagles held on to beat the Rams 28-22 to advance to the NFC Championship Game. Head coach Nick Sirianni said it was a great win but there's a lot more to come. "That's a great football team. We found a way in the midst of adversity. We played championship defense. It takes everybody and everybody in that room and we're excited to move on. But, all that does is it makes us hungry to keep going," Sirianni said. Whitehall High grad and Penn State star Saquon Barkley led the way with a franchise playoff record 205 yards on the ground and two long touchdown runs. The Eagles will host Washington this Sunday with the winning advancing to the Super Bowl.
