>State AG Debate On October 15th

The two major party candidates for Pennsylvania Attorney General, Democrat Eugene DePasquale and Republican Dave Sunday, are set to debate on October 15th in Harrisburg. The debate, scheduled for 7 p.m., will be broadcast live on many stations across the state, including KDKA+ in Pittsburgh, and will also be available for digital streaming. The event will be moderated by Dennis Owens, a news anchor at WHTM-TV in Harrisburg.

This will be the second debate between DePasquale, a former two-term Democratic state auditor general, and Sunday, the Republican district attorney in York County.

In addition to the two major-party candidates, four other candidates are seeking the office in the November 5 election: Rob Cowburn of the Libertarian Party, Justin L. Magill of the Constitution Party, Richard L. Weiss of the Green Party, and Eric L. Settle of the Forward Party. All candidates on the ballot who meet eligibility criteria will be invited to participate in the October 15 debate, according to a Nexstar Media Group news release.
