Here's what's trending for September 16.

About 25 people are displaced after fire ripped through a set of rowhomes in Allentown overnight. Firefighters were called at 11:55 p.m. Sunday to South Jefferson Street near West Maple Street, according to crews at the scene. Six fire departments responded to the scene and crews worked for about four hours to get a handle on the fire. Everyone made it out safely, officials said. Three homes were destroyed and are uninhabitable, officials say. Rowhomes on either side of the set of three also sustained some damage.

The Lehigh-Valley based St. Luke's University Health Network is considering a partnership with another healthcare system. St. Luke's is in negotiations with Grand View Health to join the network. Grand View has a hospital in West Rockhill Township along with dozens of locations that offer healthcare services. If a deal is reached, it could take up to a year before it's approved.

The trial of a Berks County woman accused of killing her children is set to begin today. Lisa Snyder is charged with third-degree murder for the deaths of two of her children in 2019. Authorities said Snyder tried to claim the incident was a murder-suicide after the eight-year-old and four-year-old were found hanging in the basement of their home in Albany Township. Snyder is facing a bench trial, meaning the case will be decided by the judge instead of a jury.

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled Friday that mail-in ballots without correct dates on envelopes cannot be counted in elections, a decision that could impact this year's presidential election in the crucial battleground state. The ruling was applauded by Republicans as a victory for voter integrity, while voting rights advocates including the American Civil Liberties Union are looking to take legal action. Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro says both Republican and Democratic clerks of elections are calling for what he calls "common sense reforms" when it comes to elections, but blames former President Donald Trump for the divisiveness surrounding the issue. "Every time there's bipartisan consensus dealing with these administrative, but important issues, Donald Trump jumps in and says 'don't do it' and Republicans follow suit. I think it's really unfortunate," Shapiro says. The justices ruling 4-3 on the vote, with two democrats joining both Republicans on the court in favor of the ruling.

A new law has now gone into effect in Pennsylvania, allowing people to drive Jeeps and Broncos without doors. Pennsylvania was the only state in the country where Jeep and Bronco drivers had to keep their doors on if they wanted to head out on the road. The bill passed over the summer changes that. Side-view mirrors are still required, and seatbelt rules must still be followed. Previously, doorless driving was only allowed off-road in Pennsylvania.

The Eagles hope to start 2-and-0 on the season when Monday Night Football makes a stop in Philadelphia for Week Two. The team battles the Falcons at the Linc. Philly is coming off an opening season win over the Packers in Brazil where Jalen Hurts completed 17-of-34 passes for 260 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Hurts describes his team's approach. "We just want to go out there and execute the different things and learn from the things we've experienced in the past. The ultimate goal is to step onto the field and feel like you're in a good place," Hurts says. The team will be without top pass catcher AJ Brown as he deals with a hamstring injury.
