Nearly two months after it was stolen, Pennsylvania State Police say they still haven't found a bronze turkey statue valued at $15,000 that was stolen from Jaindl Farms. The theft happened at a property in Allen Township. The investigation has determined a male wearing a dark face mask and hooded sweatshirt, entered the property about 10 p.m. July 14, and took a bronze turkey statue and fled the scene.
It's taken 47-and-a-half years, but the body found frozen inside a Berks County cave has finally be identified. The Berks County Coroner's Office says the remains of 27-year-old Nicholas Grubb, of Fort Washington, were found in January 1977 inside a mountain cave by a pair of hikers. An autopsy conducted then determined the man had died from a drug overdose and no foul play was involved. Investigators could not determine the man's identity at the time and fingerprints collected then were misplaced. Grubb's remains were exhumed five years ago in relation to unrelated cases in Florida and Illinois. There ended up being no link between Grubb and those cases, however a Pennsylvania state trooper found the missing fingerprints and in less than an hour, it was determined those prints matched Grubb.
