Record Number Of Open Records Appeals Filed In 2023
(Harrisburg, PA) -- The state Office of Open Records was asked to intervene in nearly 32-hundred appeals by members of the public in 2023. State officials say it was the most appeals handled by the office within a year's time. The number is about four-thousand more than were filed last year. More than half of the appeals in 2023 were filed by private citizens.
