A man is dead following a crash in Monroe County. The accident happened yesterday when Wilhelm Nebel of Saylorsburg lost control of his vehicle along Route 209 in Hamilton Township and struck a utility pole. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
A suspect accused of being involved in a triple shooting in Monroe County has been apprehended. Pennsylvania State Police announced Kenell Chisholm of York was taken into custody yesterday morning. According to authorities, Chisholm was apprehended without incident in the 400 block of Scotrun Avenue in Pocono Township as he was wanted on several charges including attempted homicide.
East Stroudsburg is mourning the loss of a beloved community figure. Ed Christian, who was an English teacher at East Stroudsburg High School and also served as the head football coach, died at the age of 83. Christian began as an assistant coach in 1967 and became the head coach in 1981. The cause of Christian's passing remains undisclosed at this time.

Both men trail former President Donald Trump, the who continues to dominate handily with forty-nine percent of voter support. It's the first time DeSantis, whose campaign has been struggling in recent weeks, has fallen behind Christie who has grown increasingly vocal in his attacks against Trump.
