Lehigh Valley Under Code Orange Air Quality Alert Again For Wednesday

(Allentown, PA) -- The Lehigh Valley region is under a Code Orange Air Quality Alert again for Wednesday. The National Weather Service says the air in the area is being affected by a series of intense wildfires that have spread from the western provinces to Quebec, with hundreds of forest fires burning. The smoke continues to travel into the United States. The Code Orange Air Quality Alert area includes Lehigh, Northampton, Warren and Hunterdon counties. A separate Red Flag Warning may also be issued for the area for the threat of outdoor fires.
