(France) -- Sleep apnea or snoring could be linked to lower brain volume. A French study shows that a part of the brain connected to memory shrinks in those with severe sleep-disordered breathing. The study's lead author, a research officer at the National Institute of Health and Medical Research in France, said that the untreated sleep disorder could increase risk of dementia.
