A Monroe County jury has convicted Jamaine Wilkins of voluntary manslaughter in the death of Prince Brown in February 2021 at the Swiftwater Apartments in Pocono Township. Investigators said the men were involved in a "love triangle" and had got into a physical altercation.

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf has pardoned Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill of his possession of drugs and weapons charges from 2008. Wolf has issued more than twice the amount of pardons granted by any of his predecessors, with at least a quarter of them targeting non-violent marijuana offenses.

New Jersey is expanding access to birth control by eliminating the need for a prescription. Governor Murphy signed legislation that will guarantee pharmacies can administer birth control pills without a doctor's prescription. "In New Jersey, we trust every woman to make these decisions for herself. Period," Murphy says. The law also applies to people from out of state.
