Pennsylvania's Democratic candidate for governor rallied for abortion rights in Philadelphia over the weekend and said if he's elected governor abortions will remain legal here. "I will protect providers in Pennsylvania. I will protect patients in Pennsylvania. I will protect women in Pennsylvania," says Josh Shapiro. He says opponent Doug Mastriano would sign off on legislation prohibiting abortion here.

A 22-year-old woman is dead after a crash in Allentown Saturday night. The accident happened just before 10 o'clock Saturday night at the intersection of Eighth and Turner streets. Debralee Roman was driving a motor scooter that struck a motor vehicle, according to the Lehigh County coroner's report. The death has been ruled an accident by the coroner's office.

The search for a missing swimmer in the Delaware River is over. The body of 23-year-old Christopher Schofield was found on Saturday near Kittatinny Point within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Schofield went missing when he and two others tried swimming across the river last week. None of them were wearing life jackets according to authorities.

If you want to enjoy Beltzville State Park this holiday weekend, you may want to get there early. Officials at Beltzville State Park say they'll close the entrance to the park July 4th weekend once capacity is reached. Via social media, park officials say no one else will be let in once the park reaches capacity from July 2nd through July 4th. This past memorial day, the 3000-acre park filled up several days in a row and visitors had to be turned away and that could potentially be the case this coming weekend as well.

Even Hershey candies, which analysts say have traditionally weathered financial storms, are increasing their prices due to inflation. Hershey's chief financial officer has said the hikes have to happen to offset rising labor and ingredient costs for sugar and dairy products, as well as packaging. A Goldman Sachs analyst as saying that Hershey has raised prices to a 17 percent increase for standard candy bars and 13 percent on so-called King bars.

The Phillies began life without Bryce Harper Sunday with a 8-5 win over San Diego. Manager Rob Thomson says losing last year's MVP hurts but Harper's teammates will have to make up for his absence. "It's terrible. He's one of the best hitters in the league and a guy we really rely on. You can't control it, so other guys have to step up and it's next man up and we've gotta just keep fighting and move on," Thomson says. Harper broke his left thumb when he was hit by a pitch Saturday night and is out indefinitely.
