Here's what's trending for April 26.

We may be getting an idea of what's coming next for the old Air Products corporate headquarters along Hamilton Boulevard in Trexlertown. There's a proposal to build three warehouses totaling 2.6 million square feet on 61 acres of Air Products' former 235-acre campus. The Lehigh Valley Planning Commission, which is discussing the proposal at a meeting today, seems lukewarm to the idea, citing traffic impact concerns. The commission's Senior Community Planner Jilliam Seitz has drawn up a letter to the Upper Macungie Township's Planning Commission saying the warehouses are not consistent with future plans for the region. Upper Macungie officials will ultimately decide whether warehouses will be built there.

An Allentown woman has been charged with aggravated assaults and other counts after allegedly stabbing a man Sunday morning. Authorities say the victim showed up at the hospital with stab wounds and 25-year-old Eddydania Ortiz was charged a short time later. The man is expected to recover. Ortiz is out on bond.

A home near the Stockertown Rod and Gun Club has been hit by bullets for the second time. A bullet struck a home on Dogwood Lane in Stockertown earlier this month, according to police, who say it was about a foot below where three other bullets hit the home years ago. Police are investigating it as a reckless endangerment case, though they did not comment on any charges.

Southern Lehigh School Superintendent Michael Mahon (may-in) says the school district is in financial peril. Mahon told the Southern Lehigh School Board Monday night if taxes are not raised and no positions eliminated, the district's projected deficit for next year is $3.3 million. Mahon says one way to bridge that budget gap is not filling vacant positions. Earlier this month, a three-percent tax hike was proposed.

Billy's Downtown Diner now has two locations in the Lehigh Valley. Owner Billy Kounoupis has closed his Allentown site on the ground floor of the Alvin Butz Corporate Center in the 800 block of Hamilton Street and is looking for a new location in the Allentown area. Kounoupis, who still has diners in Bethlehem and Easton, isn't saying why he has closed his Allentown location or where a new diner may end up.

Scientists say you'll be able to see the International Space Station this week without a telescope. The ISS is expected to appear in the Lehigh Valley sky at 5:07 a.m. Wednesday for about five minutes. You can see it above the west-southwestern horizon. It will also appear around 4:20 a.m. Thursday about 84 degrees above the southern horizon. NASA says the ISS looks like a plane or a very bright star moving across the sky, except it doesn't change direction.

As part of the Aviation Transportation Assistance Program, a dozen projects and ten Pennsylvania airports will be getting a combined $10 million. Among those airports is Lehigh Valley International, which is in line to get $1.76 million to continue a terminal connector and security checkpoint expansion. The local project is the third biggest grant awarded in the state, behind only airports in Reading and Pittsburgh.

One of the biggest names in music over the past 50 years will be in the Lehigh Valley late this summer. Lionel Richie has been booked for the Wind Creek Event Center for the night of August 27. Tickets, which start at $79.50, go on sale this Friday.

Former President Donald Trump will be holding a rally in Westmoreland County next week. The former president will deliver remarks in support of Senate candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz and other endorsed candidates. The event, which is being billed as a "Save America" rally, will take place in Greensburg. General admission tickets are available on the former President's website.

The CDC says cases of sexually transmitted disease dropped during the pandemic, mostly because people were more worried about being tested for COVID. Now that COVID's not so top of mind, health centers say they're seeing an increase in the number of cases for STDs as more people resume testing.
