More than two years after Michael Davis was killed, one of the men charged with the crime will go on trial this week. Jury selection begins today for the trial of 28-year-old Gregory Lewis, one of two men charged with killing Davis during a series of cellphone store robberies. Lewis and Vaughn-Darrius Felix are charged with Davis' killing as well as robberies of cellphone stores in Bethlehem Township, Wind Gap and South Whitehall Township as well as an Easton jewelry store. Prosecutors say Felix has agreed to plead guilty to Davis' murder and testify against Lewis in exchange for the death penalty being taken off the table. The two men are also accused of killing a man in Reading in December 2016.

Police in Allentown are investigating after a shooting outside a city nightclub over the weekend sent a man to the hospital. An unidentified victim was shot Saturday outside Chicago Sports bar and Club Gravity on Airport Road when a drive-by shooter fired at security and patrons following a fight. The victim is listed in stable condition at a local hospital. A security guard reportedly fired back at the vehicle and hit a person inside, but there are no reports concerning any charges or any other wounded people.

Northwood Avenue in Palmer Township will be closed for the next 10 weeks for utility work. Eastern Suburban Water Authority begins work today on Northwood Avenue, meaning that road will be closed from Van Buren Road and Bridlepath Road until June 21st.

A Penn State fraternity is being suspended for alcohol misuse allegations. The Omega chapter of Theta Chi is reportedly on interim suspension after an incident that may have led to a serious student injury. Penn State isn't providing details of the incident.

The Philadelphia Eagles officially begin their offseason workouts today. The team will spend the next couple of months with workouts, OTA's and mandatory minicamp before training camp later this summer. The Eagles' front office is also gearing up for the NFL Draft on April 25th.
