In Idaho, a request to have evidence suppressed in the trial of Bryan Kohberger has been rejected. Kohberger is charged in the 2022 killings of four university students. He was arrested a month after the killings at his parents' home in Monroe County. His lawyers had argued that police entered the home without a proper warrant and spoke to their client before reading him his Miranda rights. The presiding judge on Wednesday ruled against the defense's motion to have evidence declared inadmissible.
A rally was held outside Pennsylvania Congressman Ryan Mackenzie's Allentown office yesterday urging him to vote against Medicaid cuts. The crowd held signs and planted flags asking the Republican Representative to consider the children that would potentially lose coverage if Medicaid funding is slashed. House Republicans are reportedly considering taking billions of dollars out of Medicaid as part of a two-billion-dollar tax cut. Mackenzie's office released a statement that steps should be taken to ensure benefits are there "for those who need them."

Accu-Weather's Joe Lundberg says we may get just a bit of snow later today. "We'll get some light snow, probably between one or two o'clock this afternoon and maybe seven or eight o'clock," Lundberg says. That will leave a dusting of snow, but that could be enough to cause some slippery spots, particularly in the higher elevations and on secondary roads.
New Jersey Congressman Josh Gottheimer is urging the state's Board of Public Utilities to reverse rate increases. Gottheimer sent a letter to the agency, raising concerns about the higher electric bills New Jersey residents will start seeing by June. Atlantic City Electric customers could expect to see the highest increase at $28 a month while JCP&L customers will have to pay $22 more a month. Gottheimer called the hikes outrageous, especially for families who are already struggling with high food and housing costs. Instead of approving the increasing prices, the Congressman urged the board to take meaningful steps to keep costs down for hardworking New Jersey residents.

The Eagles have found their new offensive coordinator. The team announced on Wednesday that Kevin Patullo will replace Kellen Moore, who took the Saints open head coaching position following the team's Super Bowl 59 win over the Chiefs. Patullo served as the passing game coordinator under Moore and also held the title of associate head coach to Nick Sirianni. The 43-year-old worked with Sirianni back in 2018 when both were with the Colts before the duo joined Philly in 2021. However, Moore's departure guaranteed that quarterback Jalen Hurts will have a new offensive coordinator in five consecutive seasons since entering the league in 2020.
