A woman is dead after she was hit by a train. Lehigh County officials believe the woman was trying to cross the tracks in Emmaus when she was struck yesterday afternoon. The victim is identified as 68-year-old Teresa Bell. The crash remains under investigation.

Former President Trump returned to Pennsylvania, weeks after surviving an assassination attempt in the state. Rallying supporters in Harrisburg Wednesday night, the former president says despite being the likely Democratic presidential nominee, Vice President Kamala Harris did not get any votes from delegates. "We're fighting to bring back the American dream for you and your family. The radical left Democrat Party bosses have installed a puppet candidate to only fight for themselves. Kamala Harris got zero votes," Trump said to a booing crowd. Vice President Harris is expected to hold her first rally with a running mate, in Philadelphia on Tuesday.

The summer heat was too much to handle for some waiting to see former president Donald Trump in Harrisburg yesterday. Fire officials say more than 100 people were treated for heat-related injuries outside of the Farm Show Complex. Of those, 13 had to go to the hospital. It is unknown if anyone affected is in poor condition.

Pennsylvanians will soon be able to file their taxes directly with the IRS thanks to a new partnership with the U.S. Treasury. The program is called IRS Direct File and it will allow for residents to file their federal taxes for free through an IRS online portal. The state plans to open the system to residents in time for the 2025 tax filing season.

Maryland State Police have closed their investigation into a June vehicle accident involving Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman. According to previously released information, the former Braddock mayor was driving well over the 70-mile-per-hour posted speed limit on a portion of I-70 when he rear-ended another vehicle. No one suffered serious injuries in the crash. The case has been closed with no charges filed.

Air travelers who have complaints about their trips can now take them up with Pennsylvania's attorney general. AG Michelle Henry has launched a page on her website to collect reports from airline customers on poor service, cancelled flights, and other problems. Henry's office is working with the U.S. Department of Transportation in an effort to address consumer concerns and hold carriers accountable. Officials in more than a dozen other states are taking similar steps.

The United States Geological Survey reports there was a 2.2 magnitude earthquake in Hunterdon County. It happened just before 1:45 a.m. near Califon. In the last month there have been five earthquakes in Hunterdon County. Two registered at 1.2 magnitude and the others were less than one. There was also a 2.0 quake in Ocean County, NJ within the last 30 days.

Lincoln Financial Field will be full of Eagles fans tonight. The team will host an open practice starting at 6:30. Fans are allowed to bring one unopened bottle of water, but it must be 20-ounces or less. Parking is free but tickets are ten-dollars apiece.

You might notice something different the next time you watch a Phillies game. Players will now have an Independence Blue Cross patch on their jersey. It comes as the local health insurance company has become the team's first jersey sponsor. The Phillies are off today but will begin a series with the Mariners tomorrow night.
