After falling short of the Republican nomination in the 2022 Lehigh Valley congressional race, Kevin Dellicker says he's giving it another shot next year. Following Gov. Josh Shapiro's announcement he was striking private school vouchers from his own budget, budget negotiations have hit a brick wall and Republican St. Sen. Jarrett Coleman says it may remain that way. "Now, we're just looking at this and saying that's amazing that the first six months into his term and you start lying not only to Pennsylvanians, but also to the Republican caucus. It's something that really impacts the future of negotiations," Coleman says. He says going back on a handshake deal will make future negotiations even more difficult than they already were.

The caps apply to anyone on a state regulated health plan or public employees. The governor signed three laws aimed at regulating the pharmaceutical industry, with one measure focused on transparency requiring companies to report when medication prices increase.
