Bethlehem police are investigating what they're calling a racially motivated attack against a Lehigh University student. A 22-year-old Black student was walking near S. New and Morton streets, not far from campus, around 3 o'clock Saturday morning when an unknown white man yelled at the victim using offensive comments about the victim's race. The victim was confronted by this person, as well as a second adult male and was then struck in the face by one of the males. In a statement to the campus community, Lehigh University's president said, "I want to assure all of our students, especially our students of color, of our commitment to your safety and well-being. I am committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for you. Racism, hate, verbal and physical violence have no place at Lehigh."

One person was killed in a weekend crash in Upper Nazareth Township. Two cars collided around 2:15 Sunday morning in the area of Newburg Road and Gun Club Road. The coroner said 54-year-old Anthony Reier, of Bethlehem Township, died at the scene. Officials haven't said how many people were involved in the accident. There's also no word yet on the cause of the crash.

A Northampton County home has been badly damaged by a weekend fire. Firefighters were called to a home in the 200 block of East Main Street in Bath around 10:30 Sunday morning. It appears no one was home at the time and there are no injuries reported. Firefighters say strong winds hampered their efforts to knock down the fire. The cause of the fire remains undetermined.

A missing 70-year-old Allentown woman has been found. Dementia patient Mery Ventura-Degonzalez was last seen in the area of Pennsylvania Street and North 19th Street without a coat, however she was found safe.

New Jersey drivers were paying eight cents less a gallon last week than the week before. AAA Mid-Atlantic says the average price for a gallon of regular gas was $3.85 last week. That's 40 cents more than during the same period one year earlier.

The Eagles are 9-1 after coming from behind to beat the Colts 17-16. Quarterback Jalen Hurts says it wasn't pretty but doesn't have to be. "Execution. That's what creates positive plays and limiting turnovers. I think that's the formula for us as an offense as we've shown throughout this point of the season," Hurts says. Hurts tossed one touchdown and ran for another to help the Eagles' fourth quarter comeback.
