The Camelback Resort in the Poconos is being sued over a ski-lift incident that injured a father and his two sons. The incident happened in March of last year when a chair broke off the ski-lift. According to the lawsuit, the father suffered "severe and permanent" injuries and his two sons suffered injuries that are still being cared for. The suit claims the resort and its employees knew the lift wasn't operating correctly before the accident.

An investigation is ongoing after two residents in Monroe County had to be flown to the hospital. The incident happened yesterday morning when emergency crews responded to a home on Winona Drive in the Arrowhead Lakes Community in Coolbaugh Township. Authorities haven't released any details of the situation or the patients' condition at this time.

Despite offering higher wages, scholarships and other incentives, a popular Pennsylvania amusement park says it will reduce hours this year. Knoebels expects staffing issues this summer and because of that says its new hours this season will be noon to 8pm. Previously, the park was open from 11am to 10pm. Knoebels hopes to have 1800 employees this year. In 2021, the park maxed out at 1575 employees, forcing some rides to close because of a lack of staff.

Penn State's THON 2022 wrapped up Sunday at the Bryce Jordan Center with the annual big reveal of just how much money was raised in the fight against pediatric cancer. When all the cards were turned over, it was shown that more than $13.7 million was raised at the annual dance marathon. The money is turned over to the Four Diamonds Fund, which supports pediatric cancer research. This year's event was the 50th at Penn State with the event having now raised more than $180 million.

State Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding is warning of a highly contagious influenza found among poultry populations in three states. Earlier this month, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Animal Health and Plant Inspection Service confirmed the strain of avian flu in a turkey flock at an Indiana farm. It's since been discovered in chickens in two different Kentucky locations and among a mixed group of birds in a backyard flock in Virginia. Now, Pennsylvania officials are encouraging farmers across the state to be more aware of any potential symptoms among their birds.

New Jersey's daily COVID figures remain steady as the state reports another 938 cases. That's a drop from Saturday's case count of 1233. The state did report an additional 54 deaths related to the virus between Saturday and Sunday. The Garden State has confirmed over 1.8 million positive pcr tests since the beginning of the pandemic.

Some New Jersey officials are calling on the state Senate to limit Gov. Phil Murphy's emergency declarations. The demands come as COVID-19 figures continue to dwindle. Last week, the Hunterdon County Board of Commissioners endorsed bi-partisan legislation that's pending in the state Senate, adding checks and balances must be restored in Trenton.
