Olympic cycling gold medalist, former Lehigh County commissioner and candidate for Congress Marty Nothstein is in trouble with the law. The Lehigh County DA's Office is charging Nothstein with Criminal Trespass, which is a felony, and two counts of Stalking and Defiant Trespass, both misdemeanors. DA Jim Martin says there are two alleged victims, one a woman with whom Nothstein had a six-year affair and that woman's new boyfriend. Nothstein's actions allegedly happened between December 2020, when the woman broke off her relationship with Nothstein and last month. Martin says, among those actions, Nothstein entered the woman's home back in March without her permission in an attempt to access her Apple account, something the DA says Nothstein admitted to. Nothstein won gold in the 2000 Olympics and silver four years earlier.
