Pennsylvania health officials say booster shots of the Moderna and Johnson and Johnson vaccines are now available. The announcement follows federal approval last month of the Pfizer booster shot. Officials also say people can receive a booster shot from any of the three approved vaccines regardless of which vaccine they previously received. They say there is an adequate supply of the booster shots and providers are prepared to administer the shots now.

Accu-Weather's Joe Lundberg says it's going to begin raining late tonight. "I have to think we're going to see some pretty heavy rain in parts of the area by midnight or shortly thereafter," Lundberg says. And once it begins raining it won't stop for quite a while and could leave one-to-two inches of rain behind and in some places, three inches isn't out of the question.

A Monroe County priest is being accused of having inappropriate contact with a minor. Father Gregory Loughney of Most Holy Trinity parish in Cresco was recently taken into custody by Pocono Mountain Regional Police. Four criminal charges have been filed against him. He's being held in the county jail and was unable to post a $75,000 bail.

Time is running out for Pennsylvanians to request a mail-in ballot for November's elections. The deadline for Keystone State residents to request those mail-in ballots is five p.m. tomorrow. Those completed ballots must then be in the possession of elections boards no later than eight p.m. next Tuesday. More info can be found at www.vote.pa.gov.

Democrats are trying to reach a deal regarding the proposed social spending bill. Pennsylvania Congressman Matt Cartwright explains to Fox News why he believes the proposed legislation is so important. "What makes us think that we don't have to keep reinvesting and renewing and modernizing and rebuilding our infrastructure? I'm very hopeful that we can get it done because we need to. Our country has to compete with those other places in the world," Cartwright says. He says that Americans were given a portfolio of assets from a previous generation, and that they must expand by continuing to invest and rebuild.

State Police are investigating a car accident where a trooper and one other person were exposed to a powerful drug. This all happened early Saturday afternoon in Union County. Two people including a trooper were hospitalized after a possible exposure to fentanyl.

Community organizations are planning to hold in-person and virtual events this week in advance of the Tree of Life Synagogue shooting anniversary. Planners say the events will lead up to a commemoration ceremony on Wednesday on October 27th, 2018, a white supremacist shot and killed eleven people at the Squirrel Hill area synagogue in the deadliest attack on the Jewish community in the United States.

Former President Barack Obama hit the campaign trail over the weekend on behalf of New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy's re-election bid. He called on Garden State voters to get energized. "Go out there. Fight. Work. You are going to decide this election and the direction for New Jersey and this country for generations to come. Do not sit this one out!" Obama said. The former president campaign for Murphy in a visit to Newark.

New Jersey Lt. Gov. Sheila Oliver says the state's rental assistance program created as a result of the pandemic has now handed out more than $365 million in rental relief. That's to over 40-thousand households across the state. Oliver took to Twitter, calling the state's Department of Community Affairs incredibly committed to families who are unable to pay their rent.

Despite dropping to 2-5 with a 33-22 loss in Las Vegas, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts says the team still believes in itself. "We believe in ourselves. We believe in the culture. We believe in everything we have going on here in Philadelphia. It's just a matter of putting it together and executing and that's something that we have yet to do on a consistent basis," Hurts says. The Eagles visit the 0-7 Detroit Lions this Sunday.
