Officials have identified the woman who was shot to death Friday night outside a Lehigh County Walmart. Police say they were called to the Walmart on MacArthur Road in Whitehall Township around 7 o'clock Friday night. When they arrived, they found 20-year-old Nicolette Law and another person inside a parked car suffering from gunshot wounds. Law later died. The other victim's condition has not been released. Police have now arrested 23-year-old Edward Rosario-Jimenez, of Whitehall Township, for the killing. Investigators have not yet given a motive for the killing.
Lehigh University is planning to hold in-person graduation ceremonies for both the Class of 2020, who didn't get one due to the pandemic, and the Class of 2021. U.S. Sen. Bob Casey is confirming that all the migrant families being held at the Berks Family Residential Center have been released. Casey made the announcement Sunday, saying that the remaining individuals inside the facility in Bern Township were released last Friday. Casey says he'll work towards closing the center for good to protect future migrant families and children.

The department sent a letter to the U.S. Department of Education over the weekend regarding their plan. The Adams County Republican Committee is censuring U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey for his vote to convict former President Donald Trump during his second impeachment trial. Authorities are investigating the cause of a fire that damaged an abandoned resort property in the Poconos. The fire happened Sunday morning at an old Birchwood Resort prperty along Birchwood Road. No injuries were reported. Five fire companies were called to assist in containing the blaze.
