Did you apply for a mail-in ballot but have changed your mind and would prefer voting in person next Tuesday? Pennsylvania Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar says you can. Step one is bringing that mail-in ballot and all the envelopes that came with it with you to your polling place. Step two? "You'll go up to the voter check-in just like you'd normally go up and say you want to surrender your ballot. They'll have you sign a declaration that basically says you haven't already voted and hand in your ballot and then you'll sign in the poll book like normal and they'll let you vote on the regular voting system," Boockvar says. If you’ve received a mail-in ballot, but have lost it, Boockvar says you’ll need to go your polling location and tell election officials what happened and then vote via provisional ballot.
