Police responded to a stabbing in Allentown Monday night. It happened in the area of 8th and Linden streets. The victim had multiple stab wounds, but the injuries are not life-threatening. The victim claimed to have been robbed, but is not cooperating with investigators according to police.

Police are investigating a weekend incident at Annie's Coin Laundry in Whitehall Police were called around 3:20 Sunday afternoon for a report of a fight in progress. One of the 911 callers reported someone was armed with a handgun and was shooting, but police said Monday that there's no evidence of that. Police said it appears to be a domestic incident, but those involved are not cooperating with investigators.

Allegiant will soon offer another nonstop route from Lehigh Valley International Airport. Allegiant will have flights from LVIA to Chicago Midway International Airport starting May 14. The new route will fly twice weekly. Travelers can get a special one-way fare of $33 through January 16.

Four young men are facing vandalism charges for damaging a Christmas display in Stroudsburg. The four were said to be drinking at a bar along Main Street on December 15th when they decided to punch the heads of several street-side snowmen. Damages were estimated to be in the thousands of dollars. The group returned the heads to the display and turned themselves into local police the following day.

The United States Supreme Court will not be taking on the appeal case of cop killer Eric Frein. Monday, the justices disagreed with Frein's argument that his right to counsel was violated during questioning. Frein shot and killed Corporal Bryon Dickson, while also injuring Trooper Alex Douglass, outside their Pike County barracks in 2014 before going on the run for 48 days. The court's decision upholds both Frein's conviction and death sentence.

A preliminary report from Gov. Tom Wolf Suicide Prevention Task Force is expected to be released today. The report is based on the findings of ten statewide listening sessions that were held last fall. Officials say since 1999, suicide rates in Pennsylvania have increased by 34-percent.

The butter sculpture at the Pennsylvania Farm Show is no more. Members of the American Dairy Association North East took apart the 1000-pound display after the show closed. The inedible butter is being taken to a Mifflintown farm, where it will be turned into renewable energy to power the farm using its methane digester. The 2020 sculpture featured the Eagles, Flyers and Steelers mascots tailgaiting with dairy foods.

The controversial bill concerning vaccinations in New Jersey is being scrapped, for now. The measure would've banned religious exemptions to vaccines required for children to go to public schools. A vote on the bill was canceled Monday because Senate leaders ended up a single vote short. Protesters at the New Jersey Capitol were pleased. "This is a choice that parents have to make along with their doctors," one woman said. Democrat bill sponsors say they'll reintroduce the legislation today and start the process over.
